Corporate governance statement
The Board of Pennpetro Energy Plc is committed to high standards of corporate governance. The Company has adopted the UK Corporate Governance Code 2024 (the "Code"), published by the Financial Reporting Council, as its corporate governance framework. Although the Company’s ordinary shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange in the Equity Shares (Transition) category and is thus not required to comply with the requirements of the Code, the Board considers voluntary adoption appropriate given the Company's listed status and its obligations to shareholders and other stakeholders.
The Board confirms that the Company complies with the provisions of the Code. Details of how the Company has applied the principles of the Code are set out in the Company's Annual Report and Accounts, a copy of which is available in the Notices & Reports section of this website. – I have looked at the latest accounts and there is a section there on corporate governance practices which aligns with the above but please check.
